Fix Computer Sound Too Low on Windows 10

Method 1: Increase Sound from Volume Control

Sometimes even if you increase your sound/volume to its maximum limit from the volume icon in the taskbar (refer Image below). But even after this, you found out that sound in any third-party music player is coming low. So, you need to manage the volume then it should be done through the Volume control in Windows 10. Because the system has different types of volume, one is the system’s default Windows volume and the other one is the Media Player’s volume.

Here, follow the steps below to manage the volume of the Windows sound and the third party altogether through the Volume Mixer.

1. Eerstens, right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar. A menu will appear, click on the “Open Volume Mixer".

2.Now this will open the Volume Mixer wizard, you can see the volume of all the third-party media player and System’s Sound.

3.You need to increase the volume of all the devices to its maximum limit.

2.From the left-hand menu make sure to select Op te los.

3.Now under the “Kom op en hardloop” section, click on “Speel klank".

4.Volgende, klik op Begin die probleemoplosser and follow on-screen instructions to fix the computer sound too low issue. 

Now, if the troubleshooter does not detect any issue but your system’s sound is still low then, try to solve it with the next method.

Method 3: Restart Audio Device

If your Audio device services are not loaded properly then you may face the Computer Sound too low issue. In that case, you need to restart the Audio services through the Device Manager.

Method 4: Check for Windows Werk

Sometimes outdated or corrupted drivers might be the real reason behind the low volume issue, in that case, you need to check for Windows update. Windows update automatically installs new drivers for devices that can resolve the sound issue. Follow the below steps to check for updates in Windows 10:

1. Druk op Windows Sleutel + I om Instellings oop te maak, klik dan op Opdatering en sekuriteit.

2.Van die linkerkant, kieslys klik op Windows Update.

3. Klik nou op die “Kyk vir opdaterings”-knoppie om te kyk vir enige beskikbare opdaterings.

4. As enige opdaterings hangende is, klik dan op Laai af en installeer opdaterings.

5.Once the updates are downloaded, install them and your Windows will become up-to-date.

After restarting the system, check that sound is coming properly from your system. If not, then try other methods.

Metode 5: Begin Windows Audio Service

1. Druk Windows-sleutel + R en tik dan services.msc en druk Enter.

2.Vind Windows Audio diens in die lys, klik dan met die rechtermuisknop daarop en kies Eienskappe.

3.Stel die Startup tipe na Outomatiese en klik op begin, as die diens nie reeds loop nie.

4. Klik op Toepas gevolg deur OK.

Metode 6: Update Sound Card Drivers

4. Herlaai jou rekenaar en kyk of jy geen klank van skootrekenaarluidsprekers kan oplos nie, indien nie, gaan dan voort.

5. Gaan weer terug na Toestelbestuurder en klik dan met die rechtermuisknop op Oudiotoestel en kies Dateer bestuurder op.

6. Kies hierdie keer "Blaai deur my rekenaar vir bestuurder sagteware."

7. Klik dan op "Laat ek kies uit 'n lys van beskikbare drywers op my rekenaar."

8. Kies die nuutste drywers uit die lys en klik dan op Volgende.

9.Wag vir die proses om te voltooi en herlaai dan jou rekenaar.

Method 7: Change Equalization Settings

The equalization setting is used to maintain the sound ratio between all the running applications on Windows 10. To set the correct equalization settings, follow the below steps:

1.Regsklik op die Volume-ikoon in the Taskbar then click on the “Speeltoestelle".

2.This will open the sound wizard. Select the audio device and then click on “Eiendomme".

3.On the Speaker Properties wizard. Switch to the Enhancement tab then checkmark the “Luidheidsvergelyking" opsie.

4.Click OK to save the changes.
