Fix Computer Sound Too Low on Windows 10

Are you not able to increase the volume of your Windows PC? Have you changed the sound volume all the way up to 100% but still your computer sound is too low? Then there are certain possibilities that might be interfering with your system volume levels. Sound volume too low is a general problem that is faced by users in Ferestre 10.  In this article, we are going to learn multiple methods that can solve the low sound issue on the Windows 10 computer.

Fix Computer Sound Too Low on Windows

Method 1: Increase Sound from Volume Control

Sometimes even if you increase your sound/volume to its maximum limit from the volume icon in the taskbar (refer Image below). But even after this, you found out that sound in any third-party music player is coming low. So, you need to manage the volume then it should be done through the Volume control in Windows 10. Because the system has different types of volume, one is the system’s default Windows volume and the other one is the Media Player’s volume.

Here, follow the steps below to manage the volume of the Windows sound and the third party altogether through the Volume Mixer.

1. În primul rând, right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar. A menu will appear, click on the “Deschideți mixerul de volum".

2.Now this will open the Volume Mixer wizard, you can see the volume of all the third-party media player and System’s Sound.

3.You need to increase the volume of all the devices to its maximum limit.

After doing this setting, try to play the audio again. Check that sound is coming properly. If not, then move to the next method.

Metoda 2: Rulați Instrumentul de depanare audio

Once you increased the volume of all the devices to their maximum limit, you might found out that the volume is still not coming as expected. If this is the case then you need to run the Audio troubleshooter. Running the Audio Troubleshooter can sometimes resolve the sound-related issues in Windows 10. To run the Troubleshooter in the system, follow the steps below:

1. Apăsați Windows Key + I pentru a deschide Setări, apoi faceți clic pe Actualizare și securitate icon.

2. Din meniul din stânga, asigurați-vă că selectați Depanarea.

3.Now under the “Ridică-te”, Faceți clic pe„Redarea audio".

4. În continuare, faceți clic pe Rulați instrumentul de depanare și urmați instrucțiunile de pe ecran pentru a fix the computer sound too low issue. 

Now, if the troubleshooter does not detect any issue but your system’s sound is still low then, try to solve it with the next method.

Method 3: Restart Audio Device

If your Audio device services are not loaded properly then you may face the Computer Sound too low issue. In that case, you need to restart the Audio services through the Device Manager.

1.Apăsați tasta Windows + X apoi selectați Manager de dispozitiv din meniu.

2.Now double-click on the “Controlor de sunet, video și jocuri".

3.Choose your Audio device then right-click on it and select “Dezactivați dispozitivul".

4. Just click “Da” to provide permission.

5.After some time, again Enable the device by following the same steps and restart the system.

This should fix the issue with your systems sound. If you find that the computer sound is still low then follow the next method.

Method 4: Check for Windows Actualizează

Sometimes outdated or corrupted drivers might be the real reason behind the low volume issue, in that case, you need to check for Windows update. Windows update automatically installs new drivers for devices that can resolve the sound issue. Follow the below steps to check for updates in Windows 10:

1. Apăsați Cheia Windows + Pentru a deschide Setări, apoi faceți clic pe Actualizare și securitate.

2. Din partea stângă, faceți clic pe meniu Windows Update.

3. Acum faceți clic pe „Verifică pentru actualizări” pentru a verifica dacă există actualizări disponibile.

5.Once the updates are downloaded, install them and your Windows will become up-to-date.

After restarting the system, check that sound is coming properly from your system. If not, then try other methods.

Metoda 5: Porniți Windows Audio Service

1.Apăsați tasta Windows + R apoi tastați services.msc și apăsați Enter.

2.Găsiți Serviciu Windows Audio în listă, apoi faceți clic dreapta pe ea și selectați Proprietăți.

3.Setați tipul de pornire la Automat și faceți clic acasă, dacă serviciul nu rulează deja.

4. Faceți clic pe Aplicare urmat de OK.

5. Urmați procedura de mai sus pentru Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.

6.Reporniți computerul pentru a salva modificările și pentru a vedea dacă puteți Fix Computer Sound Too Low on Windows 10.

Metoda 6: Update Sound Card Drivers

If Audio drivers are not compatible with the Windows update then you will definitely face the issues with sound/volume in Windows 10. You need to update drivers to the latest available version by following the below steps:

1.Apăsați tasta Windows + R apoi tastați devmgmt.msc și apăsați Enter pentru a deschide Device Manager.

2.Extindeți Controlere de sunet, video și jocuri, apoi faceți clic dreapta pe Dispozitiv audio (dispozitiv audio de înaltă definiție) și selectați Actualizați driver-ul.

3.Selectați „Căutați automat pentru software-ul actualizat al driverului” și lăsați-l să instaleze driverele corespunzătoare.

4. Reporniți computerul și vedeți dacă puteți remedia problema Niciun sunet de la difuzoarele laptopului, dacă nu, atunci continuați.

5. Reveniți din nou la Manager dispozitive, apoi faceți clic dreapta pe Dispozitiv audio și selectați Actualizați driver-ul.

6. De data aceasta selectați „Răsfoiți computerul pentru software-ul driverului.

7. În continuare, faceți clic pe „Permiteți-mi să aleg dintr-o listă de drivere disponibile pe computerul meu.

8.Selectați cele mai recente drivere din listă și apoi faceți clic pe Următorul.

9. Așteptați ca procesul să se termine și apoi reporniți computerul.

Method 7: Change Equalization Settings

The equalization setting is used to maintain the sound ratio between all the running applications on Windows 10. To set the correct equalization settings, follow the below steps:

1.Clic dreapta pe Pictogramă volum in the Taskbar then click on the “Dispozitive de redare".

2.This will open the sound wizard. Select the audio device and then click on “Proprietăţi".

3.On the Speaker Properties wizard. Switch to the Enhancement tab then checkmark the “Egalizarea Loudness" opțiune.

4.Click OK to save the changes.
