Method 4: Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP
1.Press Windows Key + R then type ncpa.cpl and hit Enter.
2.Right-click on your active Wi-Fi or ethernet connection and select Properties.
3.Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
4.Now click Advanced in the next window and then switch to WINS tab under Advanced TCP/IP Settings.
5.Under NetBIOS setting, check mark “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP“, and then click OK.

1.Press Windows Key + X then select Control Panel.
2.Type Credential in the control panel search and click on Credential Manager.
3.Select Windows Credentials and then click on Add a Windows credential.
4.One by one type the username and password of each machine connected to the network.

1.Right-click on the drive which you want to be shared and select Properties.
2.Switch to Sharing tab and if under Network Path it says Not Shared then click on Advanced Sharing button.

Method 7: Change Network Security settings
1.Press Windows Key + R then type secpol.msc and hit Enter.
2.Navigate to the following path under Local Security Policy window:
Local Policies > Security Options > Network security: LAN Manager authentication level
3.Double click on Network security: LAN Manager authentication level in the right-hand side window.
4.Now from the drop-down, choose Send LM & NTLM-use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.
5.Click Apply followed by OK.

Method 8: Reset TCP/IP
1.Right-click on Windows Button and select “Command Prompt(Admin).“

- ipconfig /flushdns
- nbtstat –r
- netsh int ip reset
- netsh winsock reset
