Finding your phone number if you have forgotten is not difficult at all. You just have to follow some steps in order to find your phone number no matter which operating system your phone has that is either Android or iOS.

Below are given different methods using which you can find the phone number on Android phones:

Method 1. By calling another person

The easiest method to find out your phone number is by calling another person. Just dial the other person number in your phone who has his phone with him at that moment. After calling him, your number will appear on his screen. Just write down your number from there and you will be good to go.

1. Open the messaging app of your phone by clicking on the messages icon from the Home Screen.

Method 4: Using Contacts App

You can find your phone number using the contacts app but this method will not work for every Android phone. Follow the below steps to find out the phone number using the contacts app:

1. Open the Contacts app of your phone by clicking on its icon.

2. Click on your name or Me from the top of the list under all contacts list.

Note: If you haven’t set your profile when you purchased your phone then you won’t be able to find your phone number using this method. Instead, you will see the option to set your profile. So it is advised that you set your profile as soon you get a new number so in case you forgot it then you can find your number later on using the above method.

1. On your phone, open Settings by clicking on the Settings icon.

Below are given different methods using which you can find the phone number on iPhones:

Method 1: By calling another person

You can find out your phone number by dialing or messaging a code that is provided by your service provider and your number will appear at your phone screen. You can easily find that code there.
